Home / Cofounders and Equity-Sharing with RoBOPPics

RoBOPPics is an innovative startup at the forefront of consumer robotics, autonomous systems and augmented reality technology.

RoBOPPics is also a bootstrap startup.

We are self-funded and do not rely on external financing or venture capital to support our operations and growth. In a landscape where 19 out of 20 hardware and AI startups never make it to market, and most of those that do fail within the first three years, our goal is to build a sustainable business model through bootstrapping.

As a bootstrap startup, we do not have the resources to hire employees and contractors like a startup that utilizes traditional funding sources such as loans and venture capital. We need help from like-minded Cofounders who are willing to contribute either their expertise and effort or funding towards our objectives in exchange for a fair and equitable share of the business.

We are seeking individuals with technical and business skills to join us on this exciting journey. By contributing funding or expertise and effort, you can become a vital part of our growth and success, and in return, you will receive equity in the business proportional to your contributions.

The Cofounders and Cofounder initiatives listed below are divided into the three parts of our operational value chain:

  • Growth
  • Fulfillment
  • Innovation

    Fulfillment Cofounder Initiatives

    BallBOPPer Manufacturing Prototype Initiative

Objective: Raise funding and manage the design manufacture and assembly of the authoritative manufacturing prototype.

Scope: Finalize design specifications and engineering drawings. Produce the prototype components using third-party precision manufacturing techniques. Assemble the prototype and conduct rigorous testing to ensure it meets all performance and safety standards.

Impact: This prototype will finalize the specifications for the parts and components to be used for the manufacturing of the BallBOPPer robots that are to be distributed as rewards in the crowdfunding campaign.

    BallBOPPer FCC Certification Initiative

Objective: Raise funding and manage the securing of the necessary FCC certification for the BallBOPPer tennis training robot.

Scope: Conduct thorough testing of the BallBOPPer’s RF emissions at an authorized test lab. Prepare and submit all required documentation, including technical reports, to an FCC-recognized Telecommunication Certification Body (TCB). Obtain the FCC Registration Number (FRN) and Grantee Code and file the application for certification.

Impact: FCC certification ensures the BallBOPPer's RF emissions are within the limits set by the FCC, minimizing risk of interference with other electronic devices and communications systems. FCC certification will allow the BallBOPPer to be legally marketed, sold and used in the United States.
